By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect.

Lightened
"Lightened" Photo by Matt
"I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed." Psalm 34:4,5
True joy. I love this new blog. And this picture. It might be the single best picture I've yet seen that captures who you are. At least to me. Love it. And you.
"and their faces were not ashamed." And when I look at the heart of my friend, there is no shame but respect for a heart that desires to walk with God no matter how difficult it is to get into His stride..."and getting into His stride means nothing less than union with Himself." (Oswald Chambers) It takes a long time to get there, but you do keep at it. Bless you my friend.
Becky - this picture says so much to me. Matt captured the essence of you and what I hope is a "lightened" heart.
Today - I became lightened as well. I went to HFC to hear the last sermon from Pastor Dave as senior pastor. It was like a washing for me. Tears of pain, tears of hurt, tears of remembrance of days gone by and then finally tears of forgiveness.
God is good.
Love you dear friend. I will be in touch when I get back from North Dakota.
God in his amazing way penned the first word of your story...may every chapter continue to grow in depth and creativity! You have a creative eye with photography and that same creative mind sees "themes/topics" in every day life situations. You get that in part from Grandma Grace:). She would be so please...and I'm sure is smiling in heaven. Do not get weary in doing good work for him! Um abraço, Tia
Thanks for the train pictures! You always light up my life! I wish the train ride had brought you to Iowa! Maybe next year... When Brittany was little we used to sing a song that went something like this: There goes the gospel train going round the bend...Choo! Choo! I know the Engineer, He's my special friend! Destination heaven...with stops along the way...All aboard we're leaving so get on board today..hey..hey.. We would form a train and swim around in the pool. Remember our house with the pool? Have a God filled 2009! Love Tia
