Gorgeous

Gorgeous

I should say many interesting things about this waterfall we visited at the gorge in Watkins Glen, NY. I should make many spiritual applications, because there are many connections to be drawn. But I have had delightful day, full of friends and laughter and beauty and warmth, and I'm wonderfully tired and can't wait to tuck my children in and crawl underneath the covers. And I have a few prayers that must be prayed for some dear friends. So maybe tomorrow or the next day I'll try to say something important and meaningful. But for tonight, I'll let the waterfall speak for itself.

Another great pic. Sometimes I think God truly blesses you with such great glimpses of his creation.

I'm sure of it Laur. When I take Sam for a walk or I grab my camera I often say, "So what presents are you going to have for me today, my Lord?"
My favorite picture on the fall slideshow is the last one with the picnic table. I had decided to see if I still had time to capture the fall leaves for my parents. Sarah and I had a cold, but beautiful morning, so she didn't last very long outside. (I forgot her mittens!) The picnic table was hiding underneath some trees...its the one we ate french fries at with all the girls at the Fall Days, remember? It caught my eye just as Sarah and I were turning the van around for home. I just printed it last night and framed it. Every time I look at it I feel like God is inviting me to have a little time with Him at the table in the beauty of His fall creation. Maybe I just have an overactive imagination!! So B it!!
Richard Foster says God gave us the imagination just as sure as He gave us our intellect and both should be equally redeemed and inspired for His use.
(Boy I'm chatty this morning!)
Anyways, glad you liked it.
